I got a great e-mail last week from Joann who saw the article about Alicia’s Deals in So Scottsdale Magazine. She thought it was so interesting that I love to help people “live life better for less” because that’s what she does at iAutohaus every day.
She invited me to stop into her showroom to see it. Turns out it’s located in Tempe (1876 East Broadway Road), very close to where my parents live. Since I was going to be in the area (and it was a great excuse for the kids to see their grandma), I said sure.

We have all heard that it’s a better financial decision to buy a used car, but not knowing what you’re going to get can be a little scary. I love that iAutohaus is A+ accredited with the Better Business Bureau (NOT all dealerships are). The indoor dealership is so clean and so is their service department.
The people I met were very friendly and up-front about how you’re usually going to score the best deal. They said that when a luxury car is about three years old, you’re going to see the biggest markdown since that’s when many people trade them in for a new model. I was shocked at how brand-new the “used” cars looked. They said if there’s a particular car you’re looking for and they don’t have it, they’ll work with you to find it.
