Don’t spend too much this weekend! “Live life BETTER for less” with one or more of these great deals and freebies I dug up. You’ll have fun, look great, eat well, stay healthy, and your wallet will thank you!

1. The Great Arizona Puppet Theater: Right now you can snag a family four-pack of tickets for only $17, a $34 value. The tickets won’t expire until January 19th of next year. Upcoming shows include Cinderella, The Elves and the Shoemaker, Goldilocks, and many others.

2. Gymboree: EVERYTHING in store and online is priced at $16.99 or less right now. My top picks include holiday dresses usually priced at $64.50 and Halloween costumes usually priced at $39.99.

3. Biltmore Fashion Park: Enjoy FREE outdoor movies on Friday nights this fall. Check out the full listing of movies and the take-out deals Biltmore restaurants are offering. What a fun way to enjoy this beautiful weather.

4. Simon Med: If you don’t have insurance, get a screening mammogram for free at Simon Med locations in October. You must have an order from your doctor. Call 480-614-8555 for more information.

5. Aunt Chilada’s in Tempe: Go out for Mexican food for a lot less this weekend. Pay $25 now to get $55 to spend on anything on the dinner menu. You can use up to two discounted vouchers per table (which is very rare) and they expire November 27th.

6. The Body Shop: Pay $10 now to get $20 to spend in-store at The Body Shop. The discounted certificates won’t expire until December 24th, so they’re perfect for holiday shopping.

7. Government Shut-Down Deals: To help federal employees and military affected by the shutdown, several businesses have stepped up to help in a small way.

Mountainside Fitness tweeted that “Any govt employee, laid off or furloughed as a result of the govt shutdown, may workout at Mountainside free until 2014.” CEO Billy Malkovich’s comment is worth mentioning: “Elected officials are excluded from this offer. Because you know why.”

Boston Market will give Military or Federal employees with ID a free chicken with purchase of a family meal this week (through October 13th).

AMC Theaters will give a free small popcorn to anyone with a valid military or government ID.

Enjoy the deals!
