Mark your calendars for the Tempe Oktoberfest October 11th-13th. You’ll get in FOR FREE and all proceeds benefit Tempe Sister Cities. They have all kinds of activities for kids and adults. The nights get kind of crazy so I definitely recommend bringing the kids during the day especially on Sunday (their family day). All proceeds benefit Tempe Sister Cities which is in the “business of making friends globally”.
I was lucky enough to be chosen in my junior year at McClintock high school to be a delegate to Regensberg, Germany. If you know a high school senior in Tempe, let them know about this free program! Even more exciting (for me), I ran into my husband at the Tempe Oktoberfest in 2000, we started dating, and the rest is history.
You can also get tickets to the Salt River Fields Octoberfest October 12th for half off here. Pay $10 for 2 general admission tickets (a $20 value) or $19 for four tickets (a $40 value).
